Oh yes I have. It starts out small, then it grows out bigger because you have to keep building off that one lie. I use to ask my self why did I do that? Just to always be honest with your self and to the person your talking to . It will eventually catch up to you.

Yes, everyone tells a lie sometime in their life. Yes, I have told one when I did not need to tell one. Sometimes the truth does not look as good as the lie. Sometimes we lie in order to make ourselves or others look better, or be put in a better light. Sometimes it back fires also. So I know one should be very careful when telling a lie so it does not come back to bite you in the rear.

I used to do that a lot when I was younger. I wanted people to believe I was a certain way so they wouldn't find out what was going on in my life. I lied a bout almost everything . . .no matter how small or stupid the lie . . .

Of course. Last one i told was years ago but it was that i slept with someone i hadnt just to make my ex jealous... how lame is that?! Try not to these days after watching others around me make twats of themselves with pointless fibs. Kinda helps you imagine how you may be perceived if people were to pick up on your mis-truths. Seen many a friend alienated by telling lies. It was nearly me but thankfully i got away with it. Caused many a sleepless night though, my lying days are over!

Yeah. I do that sometimes when meeting strangers I will never meet again. Some of it might be a self protective thing where you want to keep some facts about yourself private except to people who really know you.

I'd say you sublimidably wanted to convey the message you lied about. Sometimes we do things without thinking about them..they seem to be reactions ..intstincts. That would explain why in retrospect you ask yourself " why?"
