looking for title of mini series that was on tv a few years ago?

It was on tv probably 4-5 years ago, it was about a girl who had to help these people in another dimension, and there was a talking dog, who i think was the prince, and then a dirty guy who was half fox....or something I can't remember...please help

thanks guys but I found it on the web it was 10th kingdom...although taken was alright too!
