I think it is because they are not happy with themselves/ or sometimes they do it for meaness and to so call inpress others. Regardless, it is awful for people to call each other names and put them down.

Well, either they just think there **** dont stink or they think that they themselfs are ugly, which means there insecure!!!!
and besides you were not made to impress the person that calls you ugly, and its whats on the inside that counts, just cuz one person says your ugly or no matter how many people call you ugly there is just that many other people who think your hott!!!

Depends on the age of the people. Often people put others down to feel better about themselves and to take the focus off of themselves. Remember pretty is as pretty does.

Its normally just because they are jelous... and feel very innsecure about their own looks even if they are pretty too!!
Infact the most bitchy girls are normally the pretty ones!!! Which is odd but they all are mainly very insecure about themselves and try and wear loads of make up to make themselves feel better which normally actually makes them look worse!!! Less is more remember :)

people say others are ugly because their insecure of theirself. they think that if they put someone else down they will feel better. it happened to me today. my "friend" was like oh my gosh your feet are sooo big and ugly. i mean...was that nessecary? no! but she said it because she feels like she doesn't look good. girls are just dumb.
also someone popular might say oh yeah their ugly and you don't wanna be weird so you agree! thats so stupid! i mean come on be your own person!
