It just seems to me if something is not hid it won't be there to find. Agree or disagree and why?

Not necessarily. It depends on how you look.

I believe this to be usually true. I think it is more like an attitude, you keep in your mind that you want to find something - abstract things or concrete like physical objects - and when you are going on in your normal day that thought stays in your mind, at least in the subconscious level. And so part of your attention is always in the look-for for this thing, so you might notice it better.

But rather ironically, I don´t know why this happens so often, when you are really looking for something, like some cloth or something that you seem not to find, you never find it when actually looking for it, but it pops up on its own when you least expect it to.

Agreed, if it is not hid you can't find it, but that doesn't mean it's not there. If you look for things you can find them, they are solid. However, when you look for dreams, hopes, and inspirations you can't find those things; they just come. Sometimes you can't find answers to the things you want, sometimes they find you. People have spent years looking for things and never finding them. I bet you more people find what they were looking for, after they stop looking for it. It's kind of like those ah-ha moments. Sometimes the things you were looking for were already there; right in front of you, but because you went to look for it you didn't realize you never had too because you already knew.

You mean 'Seek and you shall find'
Can you see the air?
Can you see your thoughts?
They are hidden from sight yet I bet you believe in them.
There is profound truth and life lessons in almost any situation. Some just take the superficial for granted with out ever seeking any deeper meaning.
Just because one fails to perceive the deeper Truth does not mean it isn't there.
That is the meaning of the statement...'Seek the deeper Truth and you shall find'.
On the other hand you can seek the glib and superficial and that is what you shall find.

I disagree with the statement.

You should not search for things. You need to go on living and as you live, things will be revealed to you.
For example, many people spend most of their life looking for a mate but not finding anyone. Once they get busy with other things (community service, work, art, etc...) that is the time they will find the special person.

In philosophy, looking for something means looking past everything else until you see what it is that you are looking for. Women many times pass up all geeks, and nerds(knowing that they would be better providers) to find the rugged good looking guy that only worries about his self. Many men only look at beauty as a way to measure women. So they pass on women who are good for them, only to find that they find what they are looking for is not what they should have been looking for. As far as physical objects, then if something is gone, and you look for it in the right place, you will find it,,, but if your children get ahold of it,,, forget it. You will never see it again.

Wow quite the question to ponder. I am not sure if this question is directed to a thing rather than a personal thing. Like I mean you can lose keys and find them. What about find something like a dream? How do you find that?

There is an idea that if your mind can formulate it then an answer must exist. According to C J Jung our mind
can access a place called the collective unconscious from whence all answers to our deepest questions come from.
It is also promised to us in the Gospels... Seek and you shall find...

I believe things are hid from our conscious mind (ego) and live in our unconscious . Though its cause must be insouled in you to lead u there it can exist wihtout its essence being in in you ,IT cannot be external to your sences . This is necesary for for synchronicity to take place as explained in Arsitoles teachings on "incident " in his de anima( soul) as his metaphysics .

that is you are to meet a person (you have never seen before) at eight to collect a donation and during the course of the day you meet a person and through conversation you find out he is the person you were r to meet at eight .
The cause was in your collective unconscious for you to meet that person that day .
In order to find something hidden it must firstly be in you to find it .

I agree with the statement. The only thing is you never know what your looking for so you dont know when you find it. But you will find it

Well in my experience, whenever I look for something never find it, but come across it when I'm looking for something else!
