60,000 Iraqi civilians dead---it sure is peaceful.

USA Today is far more credible than the NY Post, a paper where anything goes.

They know more about what's going on in Iraq than their own country. The problem is they do not care.

Saddam Hussein didn't have weapons of mass destruction? Water under the bridge.

Tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed so far? So what, we're "liberating" them.

Iraq's in a bloody civil war? Don't worry about it, we're there to keep the peace.

Our allies are withdrawing from Iraq? Stay the course, "God's on our side."

3,100 U.S. soldiers killed and counting? Send in more troops!!

So what if the invasion and occupation of Iraq was a fatal mistake? The Bush Circus can always place the blame on the Democrats. Yeehaw!

They know but don't care. Bush knows he'll go down as the worst and a victory or perceived victory might save it for him. But he's so out of touch that even a victory will mean he will be the only president tried for war crimes and will still be considered way lower that the other 42 predecessors.

USAToday... You must adore MSNBC.

In case you didn't read the news more recently, Syria and Iran are meeting with the US in Iraq... Funny, didn't we see that in the report from Mr Baker, recently? Didn't Bush say it was an option, and that all options would remain on the table? Oh, yeah... The Democrats want the country to think he meant nuke Iran and Syria... Total brainchild of an idea!

They do but they don't understand what they're seeing/hearing.....I saw a funny but sad clip on the Jon Stewart Daily show last week that illustrates this: Laura Bush was complaining that people just see the one explosion on TV a day that discourages everybody. His comments were: "That one pesky daily explosion that we see on TV. I know how discouraging it is for you to watch. You know where else it's somewhat discouraging? — at the site of the bombing."

of course they do. Iraq is what makes GWB a wartime president and is what will define him in history. they don't mire themselves in the trivial day to day living and dying of our troops, they're "big picture" kind of people.

North is peaceful, south is peaceful.
Just Baghdad is having the troubles.
If you talk with the troops or find other forms of coverage, you would see many good things are happening in the country.

I guess you believe everything you read then.

Actually, I would imagine that the "Bush circus" knows more than the news media does. And actually, he was right, there WERE some encouraging signs.
Our information is filtered, according to what the media and our government wants us to know. Our executive branch, however, has access to ALL of it.

Why don't you go over there and see for your self. When you come back you can let us know what is happening. Then we can see who is doing a better job USA today who is the Monday morning quarter back, or the Commander and President of the USA.

Duh, they know. they ordered the invasion, its common sense to have track of it. The bush administration should be convicted and electrecuted for mass murders and desrupting the peace, also money laundering for dirty money won by stealing oil, for bringing down the world trade center, treason and for being a terrorist in general
