What training do you need to be a real estate agent? What training do you need to become one, and how would you go about becoming one?
If you're a real estate agent/broker, how is the income?

Would it be a good idea to be a real estate agent while in college?

Thanks in advance!

Sheepish,
Where do you live because, the requirements most likely differ from state to state. I live in Florida and my state requires a 60 hour course with a passing grade of at least 75%. Once you complete and pass this course you are them eligible to take the state exam, in which you must recieve a passing grade of 70% of more. Now if you pass, who knows what your score was, if you didn't pass they will tell you what your score was. Go to your state licensing department or website and inquire about a real estate sales associate license. As far as selling real estate while in college, I did it and am doing it now, the pay fluctuates a lot! If you are outgoing and a go getter than you have what it takes. to contact me-- http://www.findhomesforsalewithwendy.com

Long& foster offers free classes, then you test and get license.Income is generally 1% of sales,so 6 homes @500k makes you 30k,not bad part time.
