i have a class assignment due on 3 american icons. i would like to do the assignment on 3 people who are off the wall, extra-ordinary, and different

i have a class assignment due on american icons. it can be fictional like superman or inanimate like coca-cola too

kelly clarkson, fantasia, or some other american idol finalists. america seems to run on t.v.

2 names popped into my head: Marilyn Monroe and Jerry Lewis. Marilyn because she was the personification of sex appeal, yet on the inside was a tragic figure and child-like in her vulnerability, and Jerry because he played the buffoon who went for a laugh to entertain us- and inside was a great humanitarian. Hope this helps a little bit.

Benjamin Franklin he was the original liberal. :] At least do someone smart and worth a damn. Not some idiot singer or tv host like oprah. Maybe you should do the founder of like St. Judes children hospital not many people do him.
