Sadly, unless your iPod is still under warranty you should look @ purchasing a new one.
iPod repair is probably only avialable from Apple, and like most current electronics it typically will cost more to fix it, than to just go out and buy a new one.

well, you have two choice: one :fix it by yourself,two:replace it .
if you choose the first , you can see the repair videos on youtube,
if you choose the second, you may buy the screen from http://www.cshidworld.com , the price is cheaper,and
the service is better.

apple refused to repair my ipod, i have a mini. i sent it away to on online website and they fixed it for 40 dollars. im not sure what is wrong with yours but my head phone jack was broken. i sent mine to ipodmods.com and they are pretty cheap with repairs.
