I agree with you Beaches with Bette Midler rates the saddest film I have ever watched.

Frankenstein with De Niro has me bawling everytime as does Moulin Rouge but the saddest film ever must be Grave of The Fireflies by Miyazaki, an anime about orphans in World War II.

The Cure... it's about a little boy with AIDS that goes on a trip with friend to find a cure. It is a tear jerker, but such a great movie, I highly recommend watching it.

I am a big cryer for any movie that shows an animal getting hurt or killed, and a movie with a man crying gets me. But, I think I actually have cried the most watching "Dead Man Walking" - the whole story, the characters, the intense roles and acting, it ropes you in and is 'in your face' drama - "Million Dollar Baby" is similar and a close second for me.

Ok I've got it (I had to ask in the movie section for who could remember the title) Its an age thing, I keep forgetting.

Imitation of Life, has to be the saddest of films. I've been told its on Sky movies today - so I'm going to tape the ending.
