how do i copy my music to my motorola v3i ? do i need any software to be downloaded hope someone can help?

connect it with usb,open it in my computer,copy and paste from the folder the music is in

There's a piece of software that is available to you, called Motorola Phone Tools. I'm not sure if it's available on the Motorola website, but you should be able to find it somewhere. It's a pain to install and run, but it will allow you to transfer pics, tunes, etc between the phone and computer.
