**** Walker Percy's "Lost in The Cosmos: The Last Self- Help Book."
I suggest it because it is not only interesting, but very original, humorous, and easy to read, as well.

Here, the author has created a genuine self-help book which, at the same time, pokes fun at our needy quest for self-help. Refreshingly, he refuses to take our quest as seriously as we think it ought to be. (Which is part of the "help" we need!)

A very tiny little book - written in the form of a fairy tale - that will really make you think about your own life and what changes you need to make. It's called The Knight in Rusty Armor. Available everywhere.
