Can you tell me what I can feed A pleco. I just purchased one and they didn't give me any info on what to feed it.

they will eat algae that grows in the tank...left over food that your other fish don't eat.....but you should also feed them Hikari Algae Wafers. You can also feed them real vegetables like zucchini and cucumbers. You can tie this to a rock so it sinks to the bottom.

Also remember to feed them at night, after you turn the lights off, because they prefer to swim around/eat in the dark.

regular fish food even though they usually eat the algea and what not in the tank they are the cleaners of the tank thats practically what they eat but regular fish food is good also =)

I haven't fed my plecko anything special, just what I feed the other fish...he seems to be thriving just fine...

here in the U.K. i buy algae wafers for mine sure you will be able to get them, the brand i use is called hikari.
