To hide your IP address U need a damn good firewall (like ZoneAlarm...) and to change it, renew it, do to Start, Run and type ip \renew, i think, try reorganizing the gaps in between, cause i don't recall this command so well... CAUTION: RENEWING YOUR IP ADDRESS MIGHT CONVERGE 2 INTERNET FLOW ERRORS, OR LIMITED CONNECTIVITY, OR NO CONNECTIVITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your ISP uses dynamic then your IP address will change everytime you log-in. If you IP is static then it is set by your ISP and never changes. You can never completely hide your IP address since every computer on the Internet has one and you need it to connect to your ISP. Yes, you can go through proxy servers but somewhere down the chain, your real IP gets logged from your first hop.

The only way you can change your IP address is for your ISP to give you a new one.

Your IP address will always be identifiable because your IP address is needed to get any TCP/IP traffic back to you from wherever you sent something.
