Black eye shadow?

Question

Goin clubbing saturday and i want a smokey look. I think black would look sexy, could i use black eyeliner still or no i wont need to??

*i got small but not too small eyes
*arched eyebrows
*lightbrown eyes

any other colour or makeup ideas would be nice.

personally I think black eyeshadow is always a no,,, but thats just my opinion,,, id go for a really dark purple or dark green w/ shimmer,,, you can always just use a charchol liner and smudge it with a slanted brush on the top and lower lash line.. i hope it helps,,, I love make up and where it everyday,,, have fun!!! yeah liners the best way to go for the smokey look,,, or use the powder as you would a liner,,,,

If you want to do a smokey look but keep it sexy and simple, try this. I do this when I'm going out.

Using an eyeliner pencil, I use Prestige roll eyeliner pencil, line your top eyelid, starting from outside the corner until about a bit past halfway. Then using a q-tip, blend the harsh line upwards, creating a dark kind of smokey look to your lid. You can line it again and blend a bit more to keep it dark and drastic.

Then take a white shimmery eyeshadow and dust it on your brow bone, which is right below your eyebrows and dust a bit on your cheeks.

Since you have small eyes, don't line your bottom waterline with eyeliner also. This will make your eyes look smaller. If you feel it's still not drastic enough, take your eyeliner pencil and line the bottom lashline from the corner till not even half way. This will help open your eyes a bit.

I say yes Because going out to a club means u have to go a little over board on makeup since the paces are dark i say use black i always do, and its a real great color for the night life, have fun

You still should be able to use the eyeliner - I think it's better to use the eye pencil rather than the liquid liner though

Try a dark brown eyeshoadow with a plum liner and mascara

instead of black, try like a charcoal gray, not too much. also, you can enhance your arch by putting a little white or shimmer at the end of it (mid arch to end) not too much though, just a small outline.

a sparkely black can make your eyes look amazing you don't need eyeliner just mascara and they make your eyes (especially if there lightly colores) pop
