Please help, wireless network problem?

Question

i just setup my router with my desktop, but when i try to connect using a wireless signal on my laptop, i get the following error message please tell me what i should do:
Limited or no connectivcity, you might not be able to access the internet. This problem occured because the network did not assign a network address to the computer

hey.

First you should try right click the connection icon in the taskbar & click repair, if that doesn't work try reconfiguring your wireless modem, the problem is probably the modem isn't properly connected correctly to access the internet, or the password is incorrect, try logging into your modem by using http://192.168.1.1 & enter the default username & password, mostly they use
user: admin
pass: admin
& change your settings to to open for no password connection or use a wep key for a protected network

on your laptop, click on start >> then control panel >> then network connections >> right click on wireless network connections >> on the general tab, uncheck the box that says" notify me when this connection is limited or no connectivity " >> then click OK , that error usually occur if you download new software on your pc
