Well, let's see. Are the ways of playing, relating, and communicating that a child comes to instinctually and naturally fostered and encouraged, or are they stifled and replaced with the 'societally mandated' adult way of relating and communicating?

Adults don't only have a hard time accepting children for WHO they are...

They have a hard time accepting children for WHAT they are.

Any societal custom that actively stifles and silences the natural activities of its young ones is a societal custom that is actively HOSTILE to human beings.

They shouldn't, and in most cases no. If parents really love them they will accept them for who they are no matter the circumstance parents should be on their side always. It also shouldn't be a huge shock to the parents, because they should be aware of what direction their child is in. Some parents and teachers have no idea what major influence they have on children.

Some of us have a hard time being around children at all. I did not choose to have children, so why must I be subjected to their running, screaming, knocking over things and other unsavory behavior? If people choose to have children, please keep them in control when in public places - and when they are at their homes they can destroy them all they want.
