A-Rod - even a bad year is good. He has to make a statement this year and trust me, he didn't turn into a bad player overnight.
But Chase Utley makes an interesting 3 pick if you plan the rest of your picks. If you really think about it, taking Chase sets you up with the best postion player in baseball. And first round picks are slightly over rated anyway - everyone gets a good player in the first round. It's what you do with your first round pick that counts. I have checked and done some 12 team mocks using Utley at number 3 and it strangely set up well to get Han-Ram or Rollins on the way back and a choice of Sizemore or Halladay in round 3. Which is not a bad start to good team.

Easy call here, Alfonso Soriano. He will give you everything and will be one of the best power hitters on the board at that time. Dont take Santana if he is still there, you can get quality pitchers later but im assuming you already knew that.

Jose Reyes or Chase Utley. This question really depends on the type of draft but these are great players at scarce positions.

It depends. Pujols obviously will be gone, the other contenders are Reyes, Soriano, and Santana. Depending on your league settings. My league, I would have them in this order, but in a points based or head-to-head league, then Santana would be bumped up ahead of Soriano and Reyes.

My top 10 would be
Pujols
Soriano
Reyes
Arod
Santana
Ortiz
Crawford
Vlad
Utley
Howard
So unless it's Pitcher Friendly league, I'd take either Soriano or Reyes, Whoevers there. If both take Soriano

It depends on who goes before. You know that Albert Pujols will. If Ryan Howard is available, you would want him.
