My mom let me wear makeup in stages, lip gloss at 10, nail polish at 12, mascara and foundation at 14, and all the rest at 16. I think that worked really well. Just make sure they no how to put on the make up without looking like a clown:)

Well I'm 14 right now and I still don't wear a lot of make-up. Not because my parents won't let me. But because it is so much nicer to look natural and not slutty.

depends on how much make-up u wear. i am 13 and have been wearing make-up since i was 10 but not a ton u don't want to look trashy simple lip gloss and cute eyeshadow is all u really need!

Around 10 is when they can start wearing lip gloss. Around middle school age is when you can have help finding them something natural that makes them look better, not older/trashy.

I wore lip-gloss and very nude eyeshadow at 10 and the rest at 13. also make sure she can put it on properly that way she can help others
