I was just reading the article on the new uniforms Nike has provided for the "premiere" teams in the league (Florida, Syracuse, OSU, and Arizona). It says that the Ohio State version will have the LeBron James insignia woven in the designed because he "almost" went to Ohio State. Is this a joke? As OSU fans how do you feel about the LeBron logos instead of the Ohio State logo woven in the fabric??

By the way, I'm a Kentucky fan. Was just curious about OSU fans opinions, considering to me that would be like putting Shawn Kemp's logo on Kentucky gear because he "almost" went to UK instead of jumping to the NBA. It would tick me off.

And my thing is if they were wanting to make LeBron the next Jordan they would've put his logo on all the Nike merchandise. Not just OSU because he "almost" went there.

that is the stupidest thing i have ever heard of. ohio state has alot of tradition and i'm sure they could have come up with something that "actually" happened. lebron is great, but he NEVER graced the OSU uniform once. put the buckeye mascot head on there or a school motto or something. i'd even go for odoms name on there even though he's only been there a year and might leave early. i guess i'll be seeing the new gator uniforms tomorrow at the georgia dome? or are they waiting until the tourney.. it'll be odd seeing one team with the loose unis and the other with the tighter ones..

i like the System of Dress. looks pretty nice, and i can see how the new tops are good for performance. The shorts... ehh.
as for the Lebron logo, i guess it's Nike's way of making him the next Jordan Brand. Lebron said that he would have gone to Ohio State if he didn't get drafted, so i guess Nike's thinking "hey, how bout we throw on Lebron's logo on his home team's jerseys?"
but if you think about it, Jordan put their logos on Cal, UNC, and other schools' jerseys

The uniforms look ridiculous and removing OSU's logo and putting Lebron's on is even more ridiculous.
