I'm not very good with computors and I've been trying to record to disc and somehow i've messed my pointer up, now when I move my pointer across the screen it is followed by a trail of pointers, it is not causing trouble but it is annoying. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP A THICKO?

start>control panel>mouse>pointer options>uncheck "display pointer trails". that should sort the problem. you could also get to the control panel through my computer and it is in other places.

sounds like you have tails switched on
try this
control panel/mouse/pointer options and look for something like display pointer trails , makw sure it is un ticked.

go to START, then CONTROL PANEL, then Click MOUSE. There just check everything out. Also, you can change what your pointer can look like. I have mine as a dinosaur.

go into mouse settings in control panel, that worked for me
