Watched a match on al quaeda tv the other night, the landlord said it was because its 600 quid a year compared with sky sports 700 quid a month? Is that right, coz at that price i'd assume no pub would have it?

£700 a month.... about £23 quid a day. Our city snooker club has big screen sky up, in the around the eating lounge part and smaller screens elsewhere. Quite a few punters in during day and night.

However yeah... if its £700 a month then its still pricey even for our bigger town snooker club... weighing up how much it might influence people to come in / eat / play...... and then trying to make a profit on top of the SKY expenditure.

We tried to get it for our bar area and they wanted £10,000 per year - suppose its the same for all licensed premises. The fine if you're caught without a license is £20,000!!
