Is anyone else having problems with pay pal?

I won a item on e bay and when i tried to pay for it through pay pal,it keeps saying they are having problems with credit cards and to try again later,but i keep trying,and it keeps doing the same thing,i don't want the person i won the item from to think that im not paying.Is anyone else having this problem?

Check the web address carefully. Is it really the Pay pall address? Or is it a phishing site! Be very careful. The wrong site can very much resemble the real site.

just email the person to explain, offer a cheque or postal orders and ring paypal - their local number can be found under contact details
