At the St. Louis zoo we have this thing called "The River's Edge" It has various species.My favorite animals to see there are the elephants....right now there are 2 babies. I also love going to see the penguins, especially in the hot summer because the penguins are inside a VERY cool indoor facility. The walls are plexiglass and about 5 feet high and you can see the penguins swimming every which way.

Any of the big cats are always cool. My personal preference is for the more obscure ones (snow leopards, servals, etc.).
The lemurs and small monkeys are always entertaining.
But my very favouritest critters are the ones in the nocturnal house. We don't have a decent nocturnal house in my local zoo, but relatively nearby Calgary and Seattle have excellent ones. I love seeing the various bushbabies, and fennec foxes and sloths, and especially the ninja mice (as we have taken to calling the feathergliders at Calgary)!!!

i like the polar bears cuz theyre so big and stuff but i dont like how they are out in the sun having to do stupid tricks just for lard. evil.
