I'm 19, 5'9, male weighting somewhere around the 130's. I lost around 70 pounds in about 1 year by just doing a diet. I wanted to lose weight mainly to get rid of my man boobs. They have definitely decreased a lot especially in the first few months, but over the last 3 months nothing much has changed I'm still left with a small portion of them. However, yesterday I looked in the mirror and noticed that they're smaller than before. Should I be worried or do you think that if I start going to the gym, they will go away for sure? I eat properly every day and stuff so I don't know what else to do, I hope this doesn't involve surgery.

Youve lost a tonne of weight, dude so those man boobs you say you have are just waiting to be supplimented by a huge set of pecs.

Sounds to me like you need some more beef, not surgery... and dude stop obsessing with your weight, you should be like at least another 40 pounds heavier (since muscle is supposed to be heavier than fat) ... why instead don't you measure your % body fat rather than obsessing on your overall weight....

Its a good idea to the Gym every two days but get some advice from a fitness trainer on which excercises to perform.

You are underweight by at least 15 pounds or more.

Working out would start to develop muscle. I will tell you muscle weighs more than fat. So expect to gain some weight.

You should weigh 100 lbs for 5 feet of height and 5 to 10 lbs per inch over five feet.

Small frame would be 145.

Medium frame would be 163.

Large frame would be 190.

Use the BMI calculator (link below) to work out your BMI - it sounds low; you may have lost too much weight. But that's OK. Now you can start a regular exercise regime and as muscle builds your weight will go up and the flabby skin will gradually disappear. Congratulations on losing the weight!
