By "big" I don't mean fat and bulgy but a skinny poiny one that sticks out.

I don't mind a big nose, Unless its a big old hooked nose like a witch

I don't think that. Depending on the face some just would not look the same without a prominent nose. Besides noses are one thing that actually gives a face it's character. Like ears, some people have big ears pin them back against their head and they just look better with those big ears. I guess it is taste and I'd say that who really cares what anybody else thinks about it but in reality we know that there are shallow people out there that just like to tare others apart.

Because people are very critical and they think that there is someone who is perfect. They just have to face reality and realize that everyone has flaws. A big nose does not make anyone ugly, it makes them one of a kind. Who would want to be just like everyone else? People can be very judging at they look at the person but they rarly ever get to see what is inside of that person!

People look at things in symmetry and having a big nose sticks out and over takes the face so that is all they see and noses are not very beautiful themselves.

Speaking as a person with a broad nose I think a big nose is not ugly if fits the person's facial structure. Everybody has different ideas of what is attractive.

A prominent nose is not considered ugly but distinctive. However, what are you calling 'big'? If you are talking about something swollen up and mishapen--is that just big?
Beauty is the end result. It's a vorstein, a gestalt--society is so superficial.

I think it's because they don't quite picture the ideal person with a big nose. they expect beauty to come in perfect sizes and shapes... but i totally disagree with them...
However, there's no way to change people's minds, no matter how hard we try. Some people will always stay closed-minded, and that's just the way they are.

I must have a blindness there, b/c I constantly notice cute girls only to be told they have big noses. So I couldn't care less.

I don't think so. I think it adds character to your face. The noses I think are ugly are those little turned up ones that look like pig's snouts.
I like Italian, Greek and Jewish noses!!
