I have. A friend of mine is a professional musician (as I also am). Sometimes I travel with him to gigs, helping him with equipment. Occasionally the traffic is bad or he has written the gig schedule down wrong, being a half-hour late. I always let him blame it on me because to the client who hired him I am a nobody but he has a reputation to keep. That's what friends are for.

I'm not really sure and it's impossible to say without knowing the situation. In most instances, I think I would support my friend - not take the blame for them.

I think it depends on what happened and why. If it's a legal thing, then they take the blame if they did it.

yes, after all they are your friends and there will hardly never be anyone that is going to be able to replace them so I would take the balme for them, you can't find a better person than your friend.

Now, This happen to me, I took the blame. I couldn't see my Friends get hurt, so i did. it helped her and me because it made me feel good, and her feel good.
