Try Conklin and Garrett they hire anyone willing enough to work. Although they run in Canada for only six months, they do have postitions open to go to the south for the winter season. You can pretty well pick your job if you want. A ride boy, or work the joints. There are other postitions like mechanics and electricians but if you don't have the credentials for that then work the midway. Besides the midway is a lot more fun.
The carnies life is full of off beat people but they haven't had freak shows for over thirty years. You might enjoy yourself.
North American season opens up on April 15th and ends October 14th. There are other traveling carnivals that are smaller, it you want to check them out try visiting the Showmens League of North America on McCaul Street in Toronto.

I guess it depends on what you consider a "freak" if your referring to the way you dress, my guess Hot Topic???? but why is it so hard to dress presentably for a good job?
