ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ask for permission. And do some research there are MANY MANY great lines of clothing out there.

I am not really sure about that, but I have read book that mention different brands but I don't know if you would have to ask... just go ahead! What's the worst that can happen?? : )

i guess it depends. are you going to publish your book or something like that? if so, i think you need permission. if you are not going to make a profit out of it i think its okay.
