If its under 2kg, then up to £19.59 or so.
(1kg = £10.08) Its regarded as a "small packet". Length+breadth+width < 900mm, no dimension bigger than 600mm. Weigh it accurately before you take it to the post office.
After 2kg its very expensive - see the postoffice.co.uk website. Try to use lightweight but strong wrapping. It will take 1 week to a major city. eg melbourne.
