Why do liberals question Rush Limbaugh's sexuality?

Aren't they supposed to be tolerant of alternative lifestlyes?

For those of you who haven't seen his sexuality question look down the list a few questions it occurs twice.

Those of you who make these claims about things Rush bashes must not listen to him much. I listen everyday and I think I would notice a consistent bashing of anything but liberals.

I've listened to him for 18 months and I've even heard callers admit they are gay to him and he has always treated them with respect. I think many of you have judged the man and not even heard him speak.

Rush is not a homophobe or a homo, as Bunga put it. The fact is these people don't listen to Rush. That's fine. Liberals are only tolerant and open minded and accepting if you think the same way that they do. I used to be a member of a Unitarian Church that lured me in with the promise that they respected and honored all faiths and world religions. Yet, at the same time, they banned the word "God" from their services! How accepting is that!? So typical....

You really don't understand the intent behind the questioning do you? Rush degrades people who are different all the time: gays, women, liberals, artists, etc etc. We liberals are tolerent of gay lifestyles. We don't care if a person is gay or not because that is a very personal issue. What we liberals can't stand is hypocrisy and hate. Limbaugh blasted drug users and drug addicts and it turned out that he was one himself. He's a hypocrite. We question his sexuality, not to make fun of gays, but to point out a possible second hypocrisy. GET IT? The man eats alot of crow, you should know that.
BTW, I've listened to him alot and I know for a fact that he has bashed gays, lesbians, feminists, liberals, drug addicts, artists and anyone different than the white middle class dullard. You aren't paying attention if you say otherwise.

Generally speaking, younger people use that tactic as it is sophomoric . A fun thing to banter about like in high school or college . Adults don't talk like that, so it's a dead giveaway that the person talking like that is inexperienced !!

We secretly want him to be gay so that he can do something useful like decorate our house, or say make catty comments about other men's outfits. Right now all he does is blow steam out of his ears and we've already seen the likes of that on Tom and Jerry. Also, we don't want his Viagra jags to end up with him denying that he is a Baby's Daddy on the Maury show.

WE like to expose hypocrisy when we see it, like Rush saying all drug offenders should do time but then we he gets caught Doctor shopping suddenly rehab and the help of the ACLU is OK, that is why he's FAIR GAME

Tolerant of alternative lifestyles, maybe, but take no prisoners on hypocrites.

Isn't it Rush who lambastes drug users, gays, the poor, non-whites, women, non-US citizens, and anyone else who isn't just like him?

Until, of course, we found out he was a drug addict. How many of the other groups that he hates does he actually belong to?
