CH3CH=CHCH2CH3 + Br2 -----> CH3CHBrCHBrCH2CH3

These two chemicals react together under ordinary laboratory conditions by an electrophilic addition mechanism. You would see the orange bromine lose its colour. With pure bromine the reaction could get quite vigorous. The product is 2,3-dibromopentane.
