* Apollo 15 - July 26, 1971. First mission with the Lunar Rover vehicle.
* Apollo 16 - April 16, 1972. First landing in the lunar highlands.
* Apollo 17 - December 7, 1972. Final Apollo lunar mission, first night launch, only mission with a professional geologist.

in each only 2 men landed on the moon whilst the other staid behind in the comand modual to relay mesages becouse on the moon they sometmes wew in a radio shadow

There have been 12 men to walk on the moon. 6 manned moon landings. And a few others with out men on them.

Alright, believe me on this one. NASA is one of my favorite subjects. There were six manned moon landings. They were: Apollo 11, Apollo 12, Apollo 14, Apollo 15, Apollo 16, and Apollo 17.

I think you'll find they were all clean shaven with a short back and sides. No manes in evidence at all.
