I read in a guide that you should send a thank you card after the interview to thank the interviewer for his time. Also to stand out from the crowd.

I feel you should give the company a call to check on the status. It might show your enthusiasm, but can also give wrong impression of desperation. But trust me, if the company is objective, this innocuous phone enquiry will not jeopardise your chances of getting hired.

And you will get peace of mind.

send them a note, thanking them and say something to the effect of looking forward to working with them in the future. and if you're still nervous about it, you can always call and ask if the job has been filled. but don't bombard them and act worried that you haven't heard from them yet. The job i have now, I applied in October and they didn't even get back to me about an interview till January. and even after that, it was a couple of weeks before i heard anything. Be patient, but my dad always used to say that the squeaky wheel gets the oil. so make yourself known and make it known that you are still very much interested in the job.

good luck

hope it works out

Call them! Call them everyday until you know something or until they get tired of you! That always helps!
