Narrow mindedness would be absolute committment to all your ideas and beliefs without the ability or desire to understand opposing views. It would be the epitome of a absolute belief in predestiny.

I would say that narrowminded people stick to what they say weather they are right or wrong. They could be proven wrong and they will still state their point. Their way is the only way regardless.
