Unfortunately, you can not grow your lashes longer. They do have eyelash extentions in some places. I understand it is somewhat expensive. And the upkeep is almost just as expensive. You can also buy fake lashes and cutting them and applying them to key areas where you want them to be noticed. This method looks more natural and keeps people guessing.
Here is what you can do at home (for a lot less):
Do use eyeshadow -- A light base color and an appropriate contrasting color on the outside. This brings the focus out.
Do highlight your browbone -- Use a shimmery light color right under your eyebrows. This really makes them appear brighter and more open.
Do make sure your eyebrows -- are sculped to match the shape of your face. Not too thin, and definatly no hair gowing onto your lids. This just looks messy! They should be contoured and sleek.
Do use eyeliner -- Start from the outside and go in.
Do not go alway to the corners, as that has a closing effect. Instead, stop where your eyelid starts to go down and make a tapered look. You do not want the eyeliner to just suddenly stop! Use a natural color if you like brown or a brown/black if you don't like just using black. White eyeliner looks trashy and childish and is currently not en vogue.
Do wear mascara (generously) -- I recommend L'Oreal. Use the one that is double sided. It is called Volume Shocking. It is amazing.
I always get complimets. It really makes your eyelashes stand out. I've been accused of wearing fake lashes.
Some people like to use eyelash curlers. If you do use this contraption, make sure you
1) gently warm it with a hair dryer first to actually get curl in your lashes
2) do it BEFORE you apply mascara or it will CLUMP! and then you will have one big eyelash :-)
3) don't forget to work your way up the lashes or you will have a line and your lashes sticking straight up! (Not natural)
Hope this helps!

I don't think it's possible to make them grow faster or longer than they do now. I suggest a eye lash curler (maybe one that is heated and they really do exist), a neutral eye shadow (nothing flashy or glittery) and using an eyeliner the SAME color as your lashes and mascara. The best mascara for short lashes on the market today is maybelline telescoping mascara it is AMAZING!!!!!! When using the eyeliner after applying use a qtip to smudge it just a bit along the lash line it creates a bit of a shadowing that allows you to look like you have more than you really do.
You could try eyelash extensions but that is a bit much and can get pretty expensive.
Have fun with the tips!

Eyelashes will never grow any longer then they already are. But you can use fondation powder on your lashes first then use an eyelash curler at the tips of lash only and crease lightly then use mascara starting at the root of your lash and extend upward toend of lash sever times. At the end od the tips of the last reuse more mascara. Also use eyeliner and do not connect at the corner for a bigger eye look

i have the problem lashes too ...but i did find that a lash extending mascara works quite well..use an eyelash curler too before you apply your mascara...max factor makes a great lash extending looking mascara and i love it~ I have green eyes and my eyes are not big nor or they small small, but i like them to look a lil bigger and i found that when you apply eyeliner, apply it at the rim ..not inside the rim...then it will make them look smaller~ try a lighter color eyeliner too...i use an amethest or a hunter green since i have green eyes, but for a person with brown eyes either a purple/amethet color eye liner works and a classic brown will too...oh yes and another thing i hear the inner lower lid...apply a tiny amount of light champagne color eyeshadow just a smiddgen will do and it will make them appear larger~ oh dear i hope this helps! good luck~ I find that I have had that problem too and the tricks i told you about did work for me! have a great week and happy makeuping~
oh yes and another thing~ i have my eyebrows arched and it seems to open up the eye...well...you know it makes it appear that way and i was quite pleased when i did pluck them in a nice arched shape~ again hope this helps!

Use an eyelash curler for about 10 seconds on each eye. Wear onliner on top and bottom to make your eyes look bigger. But not to dark.
Put mascera on the bottom eye lashes too but dont curl them lol.

Getting your eyebrows waxed into arches will open your eyes and make them look bigger. Then sweep a light, shimmery shade of eye shadow just below the eyebrows on the outside, and dab a bit of the shadow on the inside corners of both eyes. This trick will really make your eyes bigger.

Try using fake eyelashes and a soft, pastel (white or canary yellow) liner under your eyes. I saw this trick (minus the fake lashes) on the Tyra Banks show a few months ago and it really works.

try to line your upper lid with a white liner, this gives the illusion of wider brighter eyes. as for your lashes, there is no way to make them grow longer or thicker and you pretty much have to work with what you have. curl them with a curler (FIRST!!! to prevent breakage and loss of lashes) and apply no more than 2 coats of mascara. if you apply it to the whole lash the first coat and then for the second coat start at the center and brush upward, they will look a little longer. good luck.

All those answers are really good, but a little trick is to heat (with a blowdryer) your eyelash curler for 10 seconds and then use it on your lashes. works for me!
