I don't sweep my floors, I vacuum everything, wood, tile, and carpet. For me it works so much better!
If you are talking metaphorically......I try not to sweep things under the carpet but hey I am only human, I try to face things and vacuum them up! lol...

depends if i'm in a hurry or not. If i'm in a hurry it goes under the rug. If im not i get out the bacuum cleaner.
