Has anyone given up a child for adoption and adopted a child?

My sister gave a baby girl up years ago, adopted a daughter several years later, her birth daughter contacted her when she connected through social services , and now her adopted daughters birth mom has contacted my sister through social services about the birht daughter she gave up...she has gone full circle and we don't know how good this will end for all parties...

There's no way to tell how it will end. It's up to the wishes of each member of the triad.

why would your sister give up her baby and then adopt? if she didn't want her first baby why would she get another one? any way I have never done this but your sister should just go for her birth daughter espically if she contacted her . as the adopted daughter goes she might have to go to court if the birth mother gave her up she has no legal rights to the baby

I adopted and never heard from the sperm doner, and dont want to, she is 34 now...

i thought about it but i never did. it's good that she did though, she can understand what all parties are feeling since she has been in all situations.
