Ok, I want to make fake blood for a gory movie; I also would like to know how can I do the following scene:
At a first person perspective, the killer will cut someone's throat from behind. How can I make the blood come out gushing disgustingly AND without revealing the trick? (making it look "realistic")

Oh, by the way, if it doesn't permanently stain clothes, it would be much better.

white karo syrup and red food coloring. or make colored water since you want gushing. you either need to make blood pack or fill a tube with the mix and have some sort of air pressure to cause gushing. a cheap garden hose and a friend w/good lungs should suffice. Go up the leg of pants through the shirt. tie the end w/fine string and make it look like a necklace around the neck of your victim. how's that?

This is 1 of many sites I found. Just do a search for fake blood recipe.

As far as the squirting blood goes, I've seen people use ketchup packets, like from fast food places. Cut a tiny hole or slit, hide it in your hand. Then reach up around your throat after the cut and squeeze the packet.
