HOW TO BATHE THE CAT

1. Thoroughly clean the toilet.

2. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet water, and have both lids lifted.

3. Obtain the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.

4. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids (you may need to stand on the lid so that he cannot escape).

CAUTION: Do not get any part of your body too close to the edge, as his paws will be reaching out for any purchase they can find. The cat will self-agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from your toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.

5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a “powerwash” and rinse” which I have found to be quite effective.

6. Have someone open the door to the outside and ensure that there are no people between the toilet and the outside door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids.

8. The now-clean cat will rocket out of the toilet, and run outside where he will dry himself.

Sincerely,
The DOG

Hope this helps.

I had little kittens few months ago and I constantly had to wash the white one, because she kept shitting herself. So I filled the sink with nice luke warm water and used baby shampoo, because other shampoo has got too many chemicals in it and can irritate their skin! A very useful tip- get a pair of those thick plastic yellow/pink gardening or household gloves!!! Their nails can't get through it!! If it's a full grown cat then you might need some extra assistance to help you. So it's safe to wash 'em, just make sure you wear some nice gloves!! Good luck!

Buy some locks for your bins, and pegs for you nose

Good luck.

Seriously... I think you can get some cat shampoo that you can rub in dry it's like a powder then just have to rinse of ( stick cat in shower with water running).

Place the cat in a pillowcase add several large rocks tie the top of the case tightly and toss it all in the river. Solves all your problems no more stinky cat and no more pesky cat in the bins.

Put him in some loose woven sacking, tie it at the top, squirt the cat shampoo and water through the holes and shower him down.

Don't forget to let the cat out of the bag when you're done, mind...

We always used pilowcases when we had to wash our cats. Put him in the pillowcase (good luck!) with his head sticking out, hold it closed around his neck (gently, obviously) and wash him THROUGH the fabric. It may F**k up your pillowcase, but if he stinks that much, surely it's worth it?

You might want to post your question in pets. They have a specific category for cats. They are pretty smart and I'm sure can give you better ideas there than here. My cat was declawed, so I didn't have that problem.

Good luck finding suitable answers with this one. Maybe you should have posted in the pet section. But I think, not sure, there's a dry bath stuff like for hamsters you might be able to use.

Someone said self-cleaning but what about the smell.

run a little bath water, and after you've shut off the water (it freaks them out alot) go get him and make sure you shut the bathroom door in case he tries to escape. put him in the water fast and hold him down by his back so he can't get up and claw you. keep one hand on him while using the other hand to put kitty shampoo all over him, and use a cup to rinse him off. avoid the face. keep holding him and drain the water, then wrap a towel tightly around hiim and dry him off a little, then let him run away and lick himself clean. (:

hold him down firmly by the back of his neck
scrub like crazy
rinse really fast
then get out of the way

or you could just dump some soap in the toilet
toss him in and shut the lid
