I do. I feel dumb when I catch myself typing it. It's like, "am I really laughing out loud?!" Not usually.

That is so true! I never thought about that! I type LOL all the time, but I am not really laughing out loud.

I am so addicted to "LOL". I am usually laughing or at least smiling when I type it. I don't think it's overused or anything. I did for a while, though, because I noticed at every other sentance I was writing "LOL", and then I realized it really wasn't that big of a deal... it's more like an "e-smile". If I am really laughing out loud, I will say... Still laughing!! Thing is, I don't write it unless I mean it, and same with most people. So, here's to all the happy people out there!! Keep up the LOLOLOLs!!

Haha. You know, I really don't think twice about it, even though it does sound a bit juvenile. Usually I will just use it to let people know of the nature of my statement, which would obviously be that it is humorous. But yea, it is funny to think about it because I usually don't actually laugh out loud either lol.

LOL, jk. I really do laugh when I type it I don't crack up or anything but I chuckle or something otherwise I wouldn't type it. this whole Internet thing's a crock, so why feel dumb for spelling "lol"? it does look dorky despite the fact that you're laughing or not.

No, I don't type it, its annoying, because 99% of the time a person who types it isn't laughing out loud.

Eh, I've caught myself doing that a few times. Mostly I just type it to convey that I at least was amused at what was said. It's a lot easier than, "that was funny." LOL

No, I never think about it. If you look at my conversations on AIM i most likely say it like 100 times a person. lol...lol But sometimes i really do lol and i put lol then to but most of the time i dont think about it! lol and nm are probly the words i use most on AIM.

NOO ! ... i always type "lol" when im using msn and stuff and i use slang on there aswell and then im like .. oh im actually not really laughing why did i say that ? is it because i really have nothing else to say ?
