How to convert fractions into percentages.
the fraction=n/100 ("n" stands for the percentage)
(the stuff is over a hundred because it's n% over [a whole thing which is] 100%...the %s cancel out so it is just n/100)
1) (7/25)=(n/100)
cross multiply and you get 25n=700
divide both sides by 25 to isolate the "n"
n=28
the percentage is 28%
2) (2/7)=(n/100)
cross multiply and you get 7n=200
isolate the "n" (divide both sides by 7) and you get...
n=28.574...blah, blah, blah...or 28 u 4/7 (twenty-eight and four sevenths)
the percentage is 28 u 4/7 %
3) (13/50)=(n/100)
cross multiply...50n=1300
isolate "n" and you get...
n=26
the percentage is 26%

A percentage is x/100. Convert your fraction to hundredths by multiplying the top and the bottom by the same factor. In this case, it's 13/50 x 2/2 = 26/100. 26/100 is .26, or 26%

divided top number by bottom

7/25.... 25 can't go into 7, so place a 0 after the seven and put a decimal before your answer. 25 goes into 70 twice, put the two after the decimal. You have 20 left over, add a 0 and 25 goes into 200 8 times. Put the 8 after the 2, you now have an answer of .28 Move the decimal over two spaces, and you get an answer of 28%

use a calculator. just divide the number top number by the bottom. 7 divided by 25= .28=28%

2/7=.2857=28.57%

13/50=.26=26%

for percent you move the decimal 2 places right. Since percent means per 100. so .28 is 28 out of 100. so 28%

ok, for the first one, you would multiply the bottom by four, so it would equal 100, then multiply the top by 4= 28, so the answer is 28%.
the key is to get the bottom to equal 100. so you take 100 and divide it by the bottom number.
then you take the number you get from the division and multiply it by the top.
so...

7 goes into 100= 14.28... and goes on but 14.28 will do. then mutiply that number by 2.
if you can use a calculator, you can get a very precise answer.

the last one:
100/50=2
so, 2 x 13= 26
your answer is 26%

You need to know how many to multiply the bottom factor by to get to a round 100.

i.e. 25 x 4 = 100

then you multiply the top factor by the same amount

i.e. 7 x 4 = 28

so if it's 28/100 = 28%

do the same with the others ..... good luck

Or the same calculation but done different is
100/25 = 4. 7x4 =28

so ..... 100/7=14.285 so 2x14.285=28.5 ... so it.s 28.5%

so ..... 100/50=2 so 13x2=26 .... so it's 26%

do you see?

devide the top number by the bottom number and you get a decimal, move the decimal 2 places to the right and you have a percent
7/25=.28=28%
2/7=.2857=28.57%
13/50=.26=26%

Divide the top by the bottom and multiply by 100.

A simple example, you know a half is 50% right?

1 divided by 2 equals 0.5, multiplied by 100 (move the decimal point to the right twice - 2 zeroes) = 50.
