Since i saw "top contributer" yesterday when i signed in to Yahoo Answers i've been wondering about this top contributer thing. Are they going to get me? someone please tell me?

I think it means we spend heaps of time on here
doesn't mean we are smart etc haha
you can get fans now & that may cause problems & make some people sad & feel left out if they dont get fans & some people may get hurt when someone makes them a fan & they don't make them a fan in return
I don't think enough thought has gone into this because we don't want people depressed over it
the fan part i mean because they will in time get the badge box or banner what ever you call it as their points go up

Don't worry!!! Top contributor just means are answer a lot of questions in a particular category.

It's just another way to encourage people to keep on answering. You will notice i do not have one , despite spending most of my time here. You may notice i sound vagely bitter about it. I will get over it by the time i do get one.

i think it means that you have answered, questioned and voted in a section so much you have contributed to it so much, they think they should label you as top contributor along with everyone else.
