There is a kit car company that sells fiberglass body parts to make a T-Bird resemble a '49 Ford. It looks pretty cool.

go to the local or school library and copy the vacuum and wiring diagrams for your car. vac. hoses must be in the proper order , a used book store may have a copy of the Haynes manual for it . cars are very cool things to learn about , those '49 ford kits look like a neat thing to do , have fun , be safe .

Kind of a vague question. What kind of t bird is it? 2.3turbocoupe, 5.0? You want it to look good? You want it to be quick? How much money do you have? Start looking through boneyards for parts, and i HIGHLY recommend you join some sort of thunderbird forum online. They will be able to tell you EVERYTHING you'd ever want to know. goodluck

Its up to you where to start first, but for cheap body panels, lights etc, i use www.certifit.com i don't get them from the website though as I live nears one of there warehouses, the prices are very cheap and the parts fit great.
