It is not healthy for the baby to have those kinds of tests done while you are pregnant but if the tests were ran before you got pregnant no harm done.

Even though it is not common to become pregnant after menopause it isn't unheard of several have gone through what you have described. As a matter of fact they have a pregnancy book called pregnancy after 50.

I can't tell you that your baby is going to be healthy I can tell you that if it was me I would talk to my doctor. Tell her/him your concerns and they will understand and be honest with you.

I don't know if you have had children or not but this time is going to be a whole new experience it wont be as easy as before. Depending on what kind of shape you are in you are probably going to have to take it a lot easier then normal.

Good Luck and CONGRATS!

You need to speak with your MD right away. No one here is going to be able to give you the advice that you really seem to be looking for. There are many risks to an unborn child with the treatments that you have had. Additionally, the rate of Downs Syndrome and other birth defects increases greatly for women over 40. All that said, my grandmother had my mother at 43 and my aunty at 50, and both are fine and have had 6 children between them. But the important point is that there are enormous risks associated with both the treatments and your age, so it is something that your doctor needs to review with you.

Whatever happens, good luck!

This can pose a big risk to you because of the hormones released during pregnancy. You need to quickly sit down with your doctors and have a conference on this because, personally, I would terminate. You are faced with life threatening circumstances and it is doubtful that the child will be born in good health and it might bring your cancer back with a vengeance.

I had a friend who was 36 when she was found to have breast cancer at 6 months of pregnancy. She had to deliver the baby early - have surgery and chemo - but a couple of years later she did pass away. You are much older. The risks for a woman you age to have a child, alone, are staggering and mix cancer into the equation with chemo or radiation it equals disaster. You save your life.

You aren't alone. A coworker of mine had chemo 2 times and ended up pregnant! She had a healthy baby boy with no problems!

all of that is not good for a unborn child, i would get ahold of your Dr. right now and talk to them about it, no one on here can really help you, you need professional medical help. good luck
