a third is 1/3 right? multiphy that by 8000 and you have it.
these ppl just put numbers if you don't understand you don't, this way here you understand how to get a third of something.

2666.6. The 6 (after the decimal) is recurring. That means there is an infitive amount of them. They are just written with a dot on top to show that though.
