I have a store credit to buy a pair of Ugg boots (i know they suck) but I have credit so I have to get them. All of the coats I own are about knee length-ish. So, I was wondering if you think I should buy the Tall or Short length ones. I just have a feeling that tall boots and long coats shouldn't go together. I have long legs so it wouldn't matter if it made them look short. I just want to know if you ladies think it will stupid or weird.
that is all. thanks

I would normally stay away from the long coat - tall boot thing, but i think there may be one exception. say it's spring, you have a nice knee length coat and maybe a denim skirt and your uggs...of course the jacket is open. i think that's the only way, but don't just base buying the boots on your coats...ugg boat are still good in spring like weather where you can throw on a waist-length jacket and your boots...good luck...

and besides, worst case senario they will come back into style in 10 years!

I'd get the shorter ones. Might look a little strange when you have your coat buttoned up with the tall Uggs. But hey, you never know... try them on with your coat and see.

Not with Uggs. A pair of long sleek boots are ok with a long coat but not with Uggs. sorry but yuck

long ones, because to me the long uggs are actally pretty short.

I like it. But make sure that you wear jeans and a long sleeve tee under.
