As much as I hate that name just let her be. I used to hate telling people what I was going to name my son which is a biblical name. It's her own personal choice even though it's a tacky name more suited for a stripper. I HATE what my step-daughter named her daughter but I still love the little devil and I really don't care anymore. Basically it's her baby and she could name her what ever she wants. You can suggest names but don't be a nuisance. It's kind of offensive when people tell you that you don't like their kids name. Think about it.

Sorry to say your cousin has every right to name her child anything she wants, and you really don't have any say in the matter. and there is nothing wrong with the name Brandi, how would you feel if your cousin didn't like your child name.

Brandi isn't so bad. I am guessing for a girl? I am trying to conceive right now and we will name it Cheyenne if it's a girl, Jesse for a boy. Picking a name is special and if she likes it so much, let her do it, once that baby is born, you won't care what the name is. It will grow on ya!

Not at all. I work with and have several friends named Brandi. They are all cool people. Why don't you like the name? Its cute without being corney or outdated.
