Should the federal government privatize the U.S. Postal Service?

They are already trying to do this. That is why you see that they have to allow their competitors to place drop boxes at their locations. You know, the Fed-Ex, and UPS drop boxes.

YES!!! The government rarely does anything better then the private sector. Privitization creates competition which lowers prices and increases productivity. The free market makes this country great and would do the same for our postal service.

No thank you. The cost of standard postage is already too high and getting higher. Then you complicate it by throwing it to the wolves so to speak. It seems to be one of the few government run institutions that is working.
