one of my really good friends thinks that she might be pregnant. Her period is late. She told me that she used a condom and i'm pretty sure that she was on birth control for cramps or something. Is it possible that she's pregnant? I'm really worried about her. She's only 14, it was her first time having sex, and her boyfriend (who is 2 years older) broke up with her right after. I'm worried about her. help!

She's 14? How long has she been menstruating? It could be that she isn't regulated yet. Sometimes it takes 5+ years to actually have a reliably routine menstrual cycle. Having had sex for the first time could have also stressed her body and thrown her cycle out of whack.
The only way to know for sure if she's pregnant, which is possible, is to get a test. Either from a pregnancy help center, a home test, or go to the doctor.

well.. what's the probability that there was a hole in the condom and the BC(probablity being .01 or 1%) did not work?
It's extremely low...
My theory? She's having a lot of stress lately, and it's causing her to miss or have her period later than expected.
BUT.. since anything really is possible, she should go see a doctor or try a pregnancy test

It's always possible when a person is sexually active.
