During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how
to classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies
on monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"tool using animal". After observing some animals
making wooden tools and sharpening them with knife like
stones, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"weapon using animal". A decade ago, a rare film was
shot in African forests. One short monkey was hit very
badly by a big monkey. The short monkey prepared a
wooden knife using stones and hid it on the top of a
tree. After some days, when the big monkey came to
attack the short monkey, it ran up to the tree for the
weapon it has hid and killed the big monkey. The one
thing that the anthropologists found with any group of
human beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, is
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man is a
"spiritual animal" if you want to call him that way.

The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so named
because he has "Manas" a mind higher than that of the
animals which realises the divinity in creation. It was
present since the creation of human beings. Religion is
the characteristic feature of most of the human beings.
It is as eternal and and as unchanging as the Almighty.
Disbelief by a few will not affect it.

People who force religion dont' get it. I dont' recall one time that Jesus ever said, 'you better do what I ask'. He told them what must be done but he never said you better do this.
I think its because faith is a gift.
You don't force a person to take a gift. When you do then it isn't a gift anymore its becomes an annoyance to the person who it has been given.
I have no problem with faith in God but that is me. Other people just don't get it and so what am I supposed to do? It's no longer my call I need to let them learn in their own way.

Because they become too caught up in it; it becomes more than "guidance," it becomes their whole reason for existence.

They feel "enlightened," they feel "blessed," they feel "fulfilled," and need to share that with others.

Unfortunately, it goes beyond just "sharing" or "witnessing," and some folks get the notion that God (or Jesus) gives them total license to just get in people's faces and be beligerent.

They are wrong, and in many cases, the courts have had to explain it to them, that freedom of religion and freedom of speech do NOT give a person total license to be obnoxious.

First of your primise is incorrect......religion for all people who proclaim to be religious( from Hindu, to Jewish, Muslim and Christian), is much more than a guidance or instruction book. It is the way to achieve eternal happines. Most religions, if their members are faithful to its basic teachings, strive to get others to follow their path to enlightenment

The nice thing about all religions is the same being or GOD is in charge of all of them. there is only 1 supreme ruler. I think the reason people force there's is because they want to be right about there concept of god and if your opinion differs then your messing with there reality of what god is
